Game on sticker unpacking1/16/2024 It’s a comfort game I can use to help me if I’m stressed, so I can safely “autopilot” myself as I play. Like I mentioned before, it’s a great game to do some mindless organisation. (Which makes me curious if other POVs are possible, for example if we could follow that of the ex’s perspective…) Unfortunately not, which was a little disappointing. We all know this follows the life of one person, and seeing the other diaries kind of gave the impression that there would be other lives or perspectives that we’d unpack. Either that, or it doesn’t think a certain item can be placed somewhere, when I can clearly do that in real life. I understand there’s a feature where the game can allow anything to be anywhere, but in the main game I find myself having to rearrange things from their perfectly good spots because the game thinks that’s not where it should be. I understand it’s a moving game and people tend to bring and/or hold on to so many things, but jeez… Girlie keeps way too many clothes and books it started to get annoying. It’s a great pick when you wanna do something productive, but play at the same time and have fun with it (basically fits what it’s meant to be, a puzzle game). Looking back at my progress after each level was satisfying, and it was pretty funny seeing everything jump around before being set into place. The playback/GIF feature was pretty cool. The whole aesthetic of the game was beautiful, incredibly detailed despite it being pixelated. As for the soundtrack, it was pretty good, apparently great enough for me to not put on any other music, which says a lot for me considering I need my own music for almost everything to keep me focused. The sounds were amazing, moving things around and hearing their pickup/drop noises was kinda like ASMR to me. The story had some flow to it, some ups and downs and the ending honestly made me happy considering the lore behind previous levels. After playing this game all the way through I’d say it’s a pretty neat game when you’re in the mood to do some (almost) mindless organisation (either that or if you just like these types of games/have OCD).
